Are you a fan of symphonic prog, prog-metal, 80s or 90s neo-prog, math rock, avant garde, space rock, or just classic 70s prog? Come join us at one of our meetups where we'll talk about and share* music we all love and introduce each other to albums and artists some of us haven't heard. We'll also see what's going on in the local Austin scene and in the current progressive rock culture around the world. *Share as in play on speakers for each other, not distribute copies to take home.

We're a group of over 150 fans of Rush (connected through this Meetup group, as well as Facebook and other services) who live in/visit central Texas (Austin, San Antonio, and nearby). We share information and get together for social events, especially for a pre-show party when our favorite band comes to central Texas and when Rush Fans In Texas has a gathering in central Texas. We also support Signals, a Rush tribute band based in Austin.
